Mahe Drysdale retained his single sculls title while New Zealand men's pair Eric Murray and Hamish Bond continued their dominance of their British rivals on the final day of the Henley rowing regatta in London yesterday.
Drysdale showed he was well on the road to recovery from injury as he beat Sweden's top sculler Lassi Karonen in the match racing final for the Diamond Sculls title.
Bond and Murray were expected to be pushed hard by Beijing Olympic gold medallists Andrew Triggs Hodge and Peter Reed who claimed an early lead.
But the New Zealanders launched attack after attack and drew away for a winning margin of 15 seconds.
