The road from Auckland City to St Heliers was jam packed this morning with participants in the Round the Bays fun run.
More than 70,000 people turned out for the event, including runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes.
The fun run started in Quay Street in the central city and finished 8.4 kilometres later along the waterfront at St Heliers.
Funds raised by the event will be donated to children's charities including the Gifted Kids programme and Hearing House.
