Rugby great Richie McCaw believes the All Blacks "have it easy" compared to the challenges at the Godzone adventure race.
McCaw is part of a CureKids team participating in race to raise money for charity, and have completed stage six of the race, a 50 kilometre kayak down the Matakitaki River.
When asked by One News if he had a message for his former teammates, McCaw dryly suggested that they have it easy as he continues to face the different physical tribulations of the lengthy race.
McCaw's team sits in 21st place midway through the fourth day. They are currently taking part in a 34 kilometre mountain bike stage.
