Bailey's Comet (Fearon) strode 1200m in 1:27.7, the final 600 in 41.
The Sadler (B. Yuill) did 1400m, the last 1200 in 1:28.5 and 600 in 44.7.
"They are all ready," Yuill said of his quartet.
Avondale runner Rockabilly Rock (Udy) kept up a strong pace through 1200m in 1:17, the closing 600 in 38.1.
Bon Ton Roula (Bertling) ran his 1200m in 1:19.4, the last 600 in 37.4, another sound trial for Avondale.
* Sand Gate looked ready for a bold effort at Te Awamutu tomorrow when he worked stylishly at Matamata yesterday.
Galloping 20 metres out on a rain-sodden course proper, Sand Gate (Gregory) proved too strong for Ravanelli over the concluding stages of 1200m in 1:28.8, the last 600m in 40.9.
Sand Gate has not started since a below-par effort in late May, but on his latest workout rates a serious prospect in the John Grylls Memorial tomorrow.
Race rival Goldsinga (Coleman) also caught they eye in her work over 1200m in 1:25.5 and final 600m in 40. She also warrants respect on the weekend.
On the sand, which was slushy, Kenny Starfighter (Gartner) worked up well over 1200m in 1:23.6, the last 600m in 38.9. He is in very good order for tomorrow's R76 1400.
Chatemup (Dellow) showed that he has trained on well since his last start win when he hit out strongly over the last 1000m of his work in 1:07.8 and 600m in 38.8. He steps up to R76 company on the weekend.
Righteous Lass (Gartner) completed her preparation for Te Awamutu with a quite 800m on the all-weather track in 58.2 and the last 600m in 43.2. Logarhythm (Gillies) and Taalisman (C. Lammas) put more speed into their work to record 1:04.8 for 1000m and 38.5 for their last 600m.
Te Awamutu hurdle candidate Mr Barrymore (Greer) was not pushed over 1000m in 1:17 and 600m in 45.8.
Zedcar (Carmine) was kept to 1200m in 1:31.4 and 600m in 43.8.
On the sand Chesse (Coleman) got through 1000m in 1:09.8, the last 600m in 40.5, while Ringburner (Coleman) took 1:08.6 and 39.8 and Bonnie Parker (Dowling) 1:13.8 and 43.4.
Gomez (Davidson) was keen over 1200m in 1:21.5, the 600m in 38.4.
Egeria (Coleman) ran the same distance in 1:26.4 and 40.8, Maximabeel (P. Brosnan) took 1:26.2 and 41.6, Steel Tycoon (Davidson) 1:29.2 and 42.4 and Viaggio (Andrew) 1:24 and 38.2.,
