Sub Prime is on target to win her fourth race from five starts in 17 days at Greymouth tomorrow.
"She has done well. I scratched her on Wednesday as I felt a bit sorry for her," trainer Michael Pitman said.
The 5-year-old mare is in an open 1100m (race 9) tomorrow.
She is the mount of stable apprentice Amelia Denby, replacing Brittany Moore, who injured her back in a race fall at Kumara last Saturday.
Denby, who can claim 2kg, turned 21 on Wednesday.
Sub Prime began her holiday campaign with a second at Kurow on December 30. She won over 1250m at Waikouaiti two days later. Sub Prime then switched to the West Coast and won over 1400m at Reefton on January 5 and 1150m at Kumara.
Pitman has Zeddane, Kimberley Boy and Trademark among the eight rivals for Sub Prime tomorrow. He said Kimberley Boy would not start if the track was too firm.
Zeddane is the mount of Jamie Bullard, who rode four winners at Hokitika on Wednesday.
Pitman said Night Life (race 11) worked well at Omoto, where the team is based. Night Life won at Reefton with David Walsh the rider and he is back aboard the gelding tomorrow.
Night Life ran sixth at Kumara in his subsequent start. "He was caught wide at Kumara," Pitman said.
Borninthestates and Fellini are the stable hopes for the Greymouth Cup.
"I was a bit disappointed in Borninthestates at Kumara but he had a bit of weight [58.5kg] and he hates puggy ground."
Borninthestates has 60.5kg tomorrow. He won the Greymouth Cup in 2008 (with 58kg) and 2009 (56.5kg).
Fellini was placed behind Inferno in both the Kurow Cup and Clare Memorial Gold Cup at Omakau.
Noble Warrior, who won at Hokitika after a third in the Kumara Nuggets, could be hardest to beat. He has been rehandicapped 1kg to 54.5kg.
