Veteran I'm Imposing has hit form at the right time ahead of his bid for back-to-back wins in the Summer Cup at Randwick.
The 9-year-old goes to the Boxing Day feature at Randwick with victory in the Festival Stakes and a close second in the Villiers from his last two starts. He came within a short neck and 100 grams of winning the Villiers when Rudy's jockey Luke Tarrant weighed in light but just under the 500g which would have cost him the race.
I'm Imposing has had his share of injuries throughout his career but is healthy and happy and will be one of three runners for leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller.
The enigmatic Hoylonny and Multilateral join him in the 2000m quality handicap.
"All three will run. I'm Imposing will get a lot of weight which will make it hard," Waller said.
