Trainer Steve Richards declared that only bad luck could beat Rostova after she drew ideally for Saturday's group one Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield.
The Testa Rossa filly came up with barrier six in the 13-horse field which part-owner John Hymet described as "perfect" at the draw for Victoria's richest and most prestigious juvenile event. "That's what we were after. We were hoping for six or seven," he said. "Steve [Richards] has her absolutely spot-on for the race."
Richards has said all along that Rostova was "as tough as nails" and he remains very confident that she can go on with the job against the colts and geldings on Saturday.
When asked what could beat her on Saturday he said: "Only bad luck.

Mark Kavanagh has ruled out an Australian Guineas start for star 3-year-old Whobegotyou, saying he had run out of time to get him fit enough to run in the group one feature at Flemington on March 7.
Kavanagh faced a battle against time to get the Street Cry gelding ready for the A$750,000 ($940,000) Guineas after he had a delay in his preparation due to a foot abscess.
"He's in top order but we've missed a few gallops and we are a bit behind to have him ready to tackle that company," Kavanagh said.
"But you may see him race in Sydney this preparation."
TAB Sportsbet had had the Caulfield Guineas winner as doubtful for the Australian Guineas for some time but on Tuesday he was taken taken out of the market after Kavanagh's announcement.
