The transtasman partnership of Graeme Rogerson and Stephen Autridge carry a slim lead into the final week of the season in the New Zealand trainers' premiership.
Rogerson and Autridge had all nine of their entries scratched at Sunday's Timaru race meeting after recording one win at Ellerslie on Saturday.
Their tally for the season is 87 wins. Their nearest rival, Mark Walker, has 86 wins.
Rogerson is bidding to win the premiership for the 12th time. He has won it on his own account seven times and has been in partnership for the other four.
Three of the partnership wins were with Keith Hawtin and the other with Autridge last year.
In harness racing's drivers' premiership, Colin de Filippi has a lead of six over Mark Jones with two meetings remaining. They are at Cambridge on Thursday night and Addington on Friday night.
