Things didn't go to script for the Gai Waterhouse-Tommy Berry combination in the opening race at Warwick Farm but they bounced straight back with victory to talented two-year-old Swing Vote.
The Waterhouse-trained Swing Vote ($6) was making her debut and led all the way with Berry aboard to take out the TAB Number One Club Plate (1000m) by 1-lengths.
Inglis Nursery winner Twilight Royale started favourite at $5 and finished off well for second with the same margin to Battlefront ($19) in third.
Berry rode odds-on favourite Stand Strong for Waterhouse in the opening race but he was a beaten horse on the turn after he was pressured in front.
Waterhouse has produced some nice youngsters already this season and Berry was impressed with the way Swing Vote had progressed since her only barrier trial.
