Life doesn't get much easier for New Zealand Cup hero Terror To Love in his Australian debut this week.
The Canterbury 4-year-old - fresh from spanking Smoken Up at Addington last Tuesday - will meet former Interdominion champ Mr Feelgood at Menangle on Saturday night.
And to make life even more difficult, he has drawn outside the millionaire pacer in the A$77,500 Cordina Farms Sprint, the final lead-up to next week's Miracle Mile.
Terror To Love will start from barrier eight in the mobile mile should the emergencies not regain the field, with Mr Feelgood at barrier six, from where he will start favourite. Another former United States pacer, Lisagain, now trained in New Zealand by the Butt brothers, will start from the outside of the gate.
The latter was a fighting second to Franco Jamar at Menangle last Saturday on his Southern Hemisphere debut and would only need to perform to that level again to be guaranteed a spot in the Mile.
