"She's bounced through her Ellerslie win really well and it's a nice series of races for her in Sydney," Richards said.
The Group 1 New Zealand 2000 Guineas (1600m) winner Embellish will make his Australian debut in the Group 3 CS Hayes Stakes (1400m) at Flemington.
"That will be his lead-up to the Australian Guineas a fortnight later," Richards said.
"We're really pleased with him and everything is going right."
Embellish was narrowly beaten by Scott Base last time out in the Karaka Million 3YO Classic at Ellerslie.
"He might have got to the front a bit too soon and lost a bit of interest, but he was beaten by a pretty good horse," Richards said.
Meanwhile, the Group 1 Levin Classic (1600m) winner Age Of Fire won't run in this Saturday's Group 1 Herbie Dyke Stakes (2000m).
"He's on the easy list after we got held up and we've yet to work out where he'll be going," Richards said.
Age Of Fire suffered a setback following his Trentham victory when he got cast in his box and knocked a tendon.
While he is sidelined, the race toward the New Zealand Derby continues at Te Rapa today in the $100,000 Waikato Guineas, although the Derby favourites are missing.
Demonetization, the early favourite, was replaced at the head of the market by Karaka Million Classic winner Scott Base, who is likely to head to the Avondale Guineas at Ellerslie on February 17 next.
And Weather With You, who was a brave seventh in the Victoria Derby in November, has drifted sharply in the market out to $26 as it becomes evident he won't make it to Ellerslie.
The shuffle in the Derby betting as seen lightly-tried filly Danzdanzdance, who was sixth in the Karaka Classic, promoted to fourth favouritism at $12 for the Ellerslie classic on March 3.
Demontelization out
Million dollar NZ Derby joint favourite Demontelization has gone amiss and will not be starting.
Trainer Nigel Tiley told the Herald last night the highly talented 3-year-old has a fetlock problem and will not race again this season.
''It's not devastating, but it's bad enough.
''Derek Nolan rode him in a gallop late last week and told me he wasn't entirely happy with how he felt in that leg. I sent him to Matamata to have the joint x-rayed and I've been told he needs two weeks restricted to his box then two months rehabilitation. It means he will be out until the spring.''
Demontelization has shown stunning form and suggested he would be even better as the distances were increased to the 2400m of the Derby.
