Waikato Stud management has confirmed that exciting Sydney galloper Fast N Famous will join its stallion line-up.
"We have increased our shareholding to guarantee that he will be standing here," said stud manager Mark Chittick.
"His co-owner Ross Visalli has been besieged with offers from Australian studs and were thrilled that our association will extend to his breeding career."
A late summer-autumn campaign in Sydney has been mapped out for Fast N Famous encompassing three group one races.
The Galaxy on March 10, the T.J. Smith Stakes on April 7 and the All Aged Stakes a week later.
The John O'Shea-trained 4-year-old - already the winner of six of his nine starts - was a $660,000 purchase at the 2004 Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
His pedigree is a combination of the best Australasian bloodlines, by Redoute's Choice from the stakes-winning Zabeel mare Zalinda.
Second dam Alynda was a brilliant sprinter with her wins including the Group 1 ARC Railway Handicap, while fourth dam Royal News is a sister to champion stallion Sovereign Edition.
