On an easy No 2 grass, Indian Chant galloped once round, the last 1000m in 1:0 and 600 in 37.
Rondstad hit out well over 1200m in 1:17.5, the 600 in 36.5. Roma Lad also looked good over 800 in 50.1.
Into Temptation and Elicit Purpose went 1000m and sprinted their last 600 smartly in 35.5. Star Angel and Rice Terrace, preparing for Woodville on Saturday, were untroubled to run 1000 in 1:4, the 600 in 35.2.
Classic Susie dashed 800m with a Jetball filly in 48.5. Hero went 1200 evenly in 1:17.2, the 600 in 39.
Call The Shots showed speed over 1200m in 1:15, the 600 in 35. Regal Nite also impressed, taking 46.8 for 800.
So Swift did well under a fair weight to run 1200m in 1:13.2, going fast early, the final 600 in 37.2. Party Light strode freely over 1200 in 1:16.2, the 600 strongly in 35.4. Tangelo and Manzeni reeled off 800 in 47.5, the 600 in 35.
Gordon's continued her progress on a firm sand at Matamata, shading Blanc De Chine over 1200m in 1:17.6, the 600 in 36.5.
The Pumper and Academie Francaise showed dash over 1200m in 1:15.5, the 600 in 36.2. Down South Rose was untroubled to run 1200 in 1:19.6, the 600 in 38.
Robbie The Ace did well to return 1:17 for 1200m, the 600 in 37.2. Deune strode evenly once round, the last 1200 in 1:21.8 and 600 in 37.8.
Bronze and Risk And Reward kept together over 1200m in 1:17, the 600 in 37.2. Dr Jekyll strode 1200 keenly in 1:19.2 (37.2).
On an easy course proper, 14m out, Te Akau Jack was joined by Tudor Bay at the 1200m, from where they recorded 1:14.8, the 600 in 37. Spring Rain hit out well over 1000 in 1:9, the 600 in 39.4.
On a firm all-weather track, Jetusin cut out 1200m in 1:21.8, the 600 in 38.4.
Shaka's gallop 8m out on a fast No 1 grass at Takanini suggested first-up prospects at Thames tomorrow. He dashed 800m in 49, the 600 in 36.
Scheherezade, well seasoned for her step up to 2000m, was let off with 600 with Lettergetter in 36.3. Kat Ballou looked to have trained on when running 1000 in 1:3.5, the 600 in 37.8.

Banzai looked in excellent nick when working over 1200m on an easy No 1 grass at Avondale in 1:18.1, the 600 in 35.5.
Merchant Banker sprinted 800m with a promising Heroicity-Meteor Minx gelding in 49.1, the 600 in 36.9.
Copper Top went 1200m easily in 1:25.3, the 600 in 42. Prince Of Power cruised 800 in 55.4, the 600 in 38.4.
Meganesia, a candidate for Thames, worked solidly once round (1850m) 25m out on an easy course proper at Te Aroha in 2:10, the 600 in 39.5.
Honor Bound did 1400m in 1:30, the 600 strongly in 37.3. Vyners Wish cut out 1000 in 1:6.2, the 600 in 37.
