KEY POINTS:
New Zealand mare Seachange has finished sixth in the world's richest horse race, the Dubai Duty Free, this morning. The Matamata horse had a good run on the inside of the track but faded over the last couple of hundred metres.
Trainer Ralph Manning says there was always a question mark over whether she would last the 1,777-metre distance. He says anything past the mile is getting to her extremes and at this level it was a fraction too much for her.
South Africa's Jay Peg won the race.
