Racing: Redoute Choice's stocks soar

Stratum's Golden Slipper Stakes win has sent the stocks of his sire Redoute's Choice soaring.

Six of the 16-horse field was by the stallion who stands at Arrowfield Stud. His 2005 service fee is tipped to be around $A150,000.

"He's won the Magic Millions, the Blue Diamond and now the Golden Slipper with three different horses," said Arrowfield proprietor John Messara . "So far this season his progeny have earned $5.298 million."

As well as Stratum and Fashions Afield the Redoute's Choice runners were Opportunity, Undoubtedly, Snitzel and Al Samer.
