Trainer Ciaron Maher was hoping for a draw closer to the rail but said barrier 16 was no big deal.
Last year's VRC Oaks winner will start from barrier 12 if the emergencies don't gain a start. "It's a staying race so you have to get your horse into a nice rhythm and relaxed," Maher said.
"That's the first and foremost thing and then you can ride a race from there on in."
Chris Gibbs, who co-trains New Zealand visitor Volkstok'n'barrell, said he could not have wished for a better barrier.
"He'll come into barrier seven if the emergencies don't get a start and if I could pick a barrier that is the one I would have chosen," Gibbs said.
Robin Trevor-Jones, overseeing the preparation of Trip To Paris for trainer Ed Dunlop, said barrier five was an ideal draw.
"It's a great barrier. We jump, sit and let him hold his position. Hopefully we'll be just in behind the leaders," Trevor-Jones said.
