KEY POINTS:
Outstanding young pacer Ohoka Arizona has broken down and will not race again this season.
Last season's Juvenile of the Year and Harness Jewels winner fractured his pastern bone in track work yesterday morning and will be operated on today. He won't be seen until next season. "It is a real shame but at least he is likely to race again," said co-trainer Mark Purdon.
Ohoka Arizona was the hot favourite for last month's Sires' Stakes but failed in the race won by stablemate Auckland Reactor.
