British jockey Alan Munro is back in New Zealand for summer racing.
Munro spent the latter part of last summer in New Zealand, which was the first time he had ridden for four years.
The New Zealand stint provided a springboard for his return to British racing where he finished second in the English Derby aboard Walk In The Park in June.
Munro's best win was in the same race in 1991 when he scored aboard Generous.
Munro said he fell in love with New Zealand on his last trip and he had bought a beach property.
Once again his New Zealand stint will be short as he plans to head back to the United Kingdom.
"After I finish here, I'm going to go back to the UK," Munro said.
"If I pick up a serious job there, I'd stay. If I don't I would probably look at the East again.
"I'm certainly going to ride in Japan next winter."
