There was mixed luck for the fancied runners at yesterday's Cox Plate barrier draw with Sydney star Racing To Win faring well with gate six while El Segundo came up with an awkward alley in 10.
The pair remain equal favourites for Saturday's race with TAB Sportsbet at $3.50 after the draw.
Miss Finland, who will be striving to become the first filly to win the Moonee Valley feature since Surround in 1976, will start from barrier four, one to the inside of Darren Beadman's mount Our Smoking Joe. Miss Finland will be ridden by champion New Zealand jockey Lisa Cropp.
Fields Of Omagh will be lining up in his fifth Cox Plate and has gate seven while the Roger Hoysted-trained Lad Of The Manor drew favourably in two.
The two horses making their Australian debuts, Grey Swallow and Honor In War, drew the inside and outside gates respectively in the field of 13.
Meanwhile, Caulfield Cup runner-up Aqua D'Amore, who drew eight, will now be ridden by Kieren Fallon, who replaces Stephen Baster.
