KEY POINTS:
MELBOURNE - David Hayes' stable star Miss Finland will attempt to become only the fifth filly to win the C.F. Orr Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday.
If the daughter of Redoute's Choice is successful, she would join Gallopade (1930), Iva (1937), Surround (1977) and Grand Archway (1999) as the only fillies to have won the group one weight-for-age feature in its 81-year history.
Only two fillies have contested the past seven runnings - Miss Pennymoney, who finished second to Redoute's Choice in 2000, and Innovation Girl, who was third to Yell in 2003.
Miss Finland has won seven of her 12 starts and last year became the first filly to complete the Golden Slipper-VRC Oaks double. She also won the Thousand Guineas at Caulfield.
Hayes believes Miss Finland can make the Orr her fourth group-one win.
"It's hard to get a filly good enough to run in a race like this, but we couldn't be happier with her and we're confident she'll go really well, as she always does," he said.
Hayes will also start Caulfield Cup winner Tawqeet and Niconero in the Orr.
