This is what money with legs looks like.
The colt born at Windsor Park Stud in Cambridge on Tuesday night is a brother to champion galloper So You Think, recently valued at A$60 million ($77.4 million).
So You Think won his second Cox Plate in October before a brave third in the Melbourne Cup.
Soon after a half-share in him was sold to breeding giants Coolmore Stud for A$30 million.
He heads to Ireland this month for racing and a dual hemisphere stud career.
But his little brother will be staying closer to home for at least the next year.
The son of High Chaparral and Triassic will spend most of his time eating and growing before almost certainly being offered for sale as a yearling early in 2012.
"That decision hasn't been made yet but his owners are commercial breeders so it would seem likely he will be sold," said Windsor Park general manager Steve Till.
The colt was a lot like his champion brother, with similar colourings but a bigger star on his forehead, Mr Till said.
And the million-dollar baby won't be getting any special treatment.
"We look after all our foals the same. We have been fortunate enough to have a lot of valuable foals born here over the years and they all go through the same foaling and rearing system."
But the stud's latest arrival does have one early difference.
"He was insured straight away, because obviously he is worth a fair bit of money," said Mr Till.
How much?
"Well, it is hard to put a figure on but So You Think was sold at the yearling sales for $110,000 and then last month a half share was sold for that A$30 million.
"So this little fella is worth somewhere between those two figures."
Racing: Million-dollar baby is sure bet
