SYDNEY - Less than a week after the Melbourne Cup, bookmaker Michael Eskander has released his first markets for next year with Efficient favourite at $14.
The Victoria Derby winner was scratched on race morning last Tuesday with a knee injury but is expected to make a full recovery.
The Cup was won by Japanese stayer Delta Blues who is at $17 while his second placed stablemate Pop Rock is at $15 with third and fourth placed Maybe Better and Zipping.
