Last start, she switched up to group three status and beat the opposition with a powerful late charge.
Seemingly her only negative here is that she has not previously raced at Ellerslie, a track that can occasionally be difficult for first timers, but Marsh is not sweating over that.
He is instead focused on the extreme speed Lucia Valentina can muster in the closing stages.
"Her turn of foot is extremely good and that wins races. To be honest I think you will see a better filly when she tackles the 2000m of the Royal Stakes next week and I believe her finish will be even better in that."
Marsh is also counting on the filly's toughness as she takes on talented male Chambord.
"She just loves racing and everything about it and she has drawn perfectly."
Procurement has also not had a gallop around Ellerslie, her two stylish winning runs both coming at Te Rapa.
She led in both of those over 1200m and 1400m and has to stretch out to 1600m this time. Ellerslie is not as easy to lead on as Te Rapa, but Marsh does not see that as a problem.
"A lot of horses look around when they get to Ellerslie, but she doesn't have to lead. She will go forward and she will sit top four in running, but I don't expect her to be in front.
"I believe that, eventually, she'll be better when she's running at them, but she's had only two starts and we won't be taking her natural racing style away from her at this stage.
"This is a big step up for her, but she's thrived, she can run very good sectionals and her work has been A1."
Roger James will leave a decision until race morning on whether he will run Hera and Miss Foxwood in the Great Northern Guineas or the Eight Carat Classic.
James accepted with both fillies in both races.
"I was most keen to run them both in the Guineas because I felt it would be the easier race, but at the barrier draws it makes more sense to tackle the Eight Carat with both."
Hera has barrier No 2 in the Eight Carat and No 12 in the Guineas and Miss Foxwood No 9 in the Eight Carat and No 18 in the other race.
Sydney jockey Josh Adams rides Hera and Rory Hutchings is on Miss Foxwood in the Eight Carat, but she will be ridden by Danielle Johnson if she starts in the Guineas.
