Lombo Pocket Watch registered career win number 25 with a minimum of fuss in the Vicbred semifinal at Moonee Valley on Friday.
The colt speared straight to the front and was untroubled to keep his unbeaten record at Moonee Valley intact.
Now a winner of all his seven starts at Victoria's harness racing headquarters, Lombo Pocket Watch ($1.30 fav) had 5 3/4m to spare from The Marksman ($11.50) with a half metre to Triple Vance ($5.30) in third.
Significantly, Lombo Pocket Watch rated a much faster mile rate than his stablemate, Lombo Mandingo, who won the other semifinal.
Lombo Pocket Watch rated 1min 57.7sec for the 2100m compared to Lombo Mandingo's mile rate of 1min 59.1sec.
