Otaki jockey Emma Lloyd has been disqualified for nearly six months on a drugs charge.
Lloyd tested positive to amphetamine and methamphetamine, commonly known as P, at a Foxton race meeting on June 5.
New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing's chief racecourse inspector John McKenzie said yesterday she was one of two jockeys who tested positive on the day.
Charges against the other, who remains unnamed, have yet to be heard.
Lloyd had her charge heard in Palmerston North last Friday and was disqualified from Saturday's racing and up to and including December 31, a period of 5 months.
Lloyd, who recently made a comeback to riding, had her rider's licence withdrawn when the test was confirmed as positive but had it reinstated when she produced a clear test.
She had since stood herself down from riding.
Meanwhile, the long-running drugs case against top jockey Lisa Cropp could resume in the High Court next month.
McKenzie said he had been advised the case could resume in the week starting August 14.
It is now 14 months since Cropp tested positive to methamphetamine at a race meeting at Te Rapa in Hamilton on May 7.
Last season, Cropp became the first woman to win the New Zealand jockeys' premiership when she rode 197 winners to create a record for the number of wins in a season.
Cropp will also win this season's premiership.
With two weeks remaining this season, Cropp has ridden 143 winners.
Her nearest rival, Andrew Calder, is on 102 wins.
