Luckily for Legs she doesn't know how to read form-lines.
While her last three runs were over 1800m and beyond, including a last-start win in the New Zealand Oaks (2400m), her main spring mission is a feature sprint.
Waverley trainer Kevin Gray though is adamant it's just a matter of keeping Legs fresh enough and she's a huge chance in the Mudgway Partsworld Stakes (1400m) at Hastings on September 2.
The Pins four-year-old has her one and only tune-up at Otaki against R92 rivals over 1200m tomorrow.
"Whatever she does I know she'll have a good puff and improve by five or six lengths for Hastings," said Gray. "The 1400m at Hastings will suit her; I've kept her fresh and she's got a good turn of foot, don't worry about that.
"When she raced over 2400m, she'd had the racing and I trained her for that."
Gray isn't demanding a win tomorrow against the exciting wet-tracker True Power, who gets a 3.5kg pull in the weights.
He just wants to see Legs running on strongly to confirm his belief she'll be a threat to Seachange and Darci Brahma a fortnight later.
