Jockeys Patrick Holmes and Chris Johnson have been suspended for careless riding at Wingatui.
The Cambridge-based apprentice Holmes was suspended for eight riding days after admitting the charge. He shifted out near the 100m when riding Starry Angel in race two. He hampered Coup Christchurch and The Hirricane and caused a severe check to Megagem, who finished fourth.
Starry Angel was relegated from third to fourth.
His suspension begins after the meeting at Rotorua on Wednesday and concludes at midnight on March 2.
Johnson, the rider of Coup Christchurch, admitted shifting out near the 300m in the same race and twice came in contact with Pernote when attempting to take a gap.
He was suspended for two riding days until midnight next Saturday and fined $500.
Boxapins was a late scratched from the Dunedin Classic after rearing over backwards in the birdcage. She became entangled in a fence.
Porotene Warrior was a late scratching from race five on veterinary advice.
