He was a brave second in the A$3 million Cox Plate (2040m) last month before his fourth with 58kg topweight in the Emirates Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on November 5.
Bary believes the five weeks between runs from the Emirates to the Hong Kong Mile would work out perfectly. "That was the reason for running in the Emirates over the mile, albeit carrying topweight.
"Otherwise it would have been seven weeks [between the Cox Plate and Hong Kong Mile]. It's actually worked out perfectly with the travelling and just getting over the two hard runs in Australia. You couldn't have asked for a better preparation."
Bary and jockey Jonathan Riddell will link with Jimmy Choux in Hong Kong next Tuesday.
"We'll give him a nice gallop on Wednesday, then we'll just see from there whether we need another 600m gallop or not," Bary said.
* The younger siblings of Black Caviar and So You Think will be sold at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney next year.
The catalogue for the biggest yearling sale in the country is now available and the two relations of the turf champions are expected to catch the most attention, reports the Sydney Daily Telegraph.
Black Caviar's little sister is by champion sire Redoute's Choice, while So You Think's younger brother is a full relation, being by High Chaparral. "So You Think's brother is in New Zealand at the moment and will be coming across to Scone to be prepared for the sale shortly," Inglis director Jonathan D'Arcy said. "I've been across to see him and he has a striking head like his older brother and is an attractive colt.
"I've seen Black Caviar's little sister a couple of times as a foal and I've seen her recently and she has certainly developed into a big strong filly.
"We are just thrilled to be able to offer the public relatives of two of the best racehorses we have seen in Australia for some time."
Fastnet Rock has taken over as the most popular stallion in the catalogue, with 62 yearlings to be offered.
A younger brother to Peter Moody's top mare King's Rose is expected to be one of the most sought-after youngsters, with the Fastnet Rock colt out of Nureyev's Girl catching the attention of many keen judges already.
A half-brother to Makybe Diva will be up for sale. The Tugela colt is by Shocking's sire Street Cry.
