"We were just having a chat earlier, we might take him to Perth for the Kingston Town.
"If we are going to do that we've probably got to give him a run in Melbourne at some point."
Despite the meagre opposition, O'Shea was impressed with the win.
"I think he would have taken a fair bit of beating no matter what was in it today," O'Shea said.
"He was very impressive and he did it quite easily."
It's Somewhat was third behind Winx in the Group George Main Stakes (1600m) at his last start and relished the step up to 2000m.
O'Shea also produced Godolphin filly Jorda to win the Listed Gimcrack Stakes.
Kanga's Eye ($81) ran an eye-catching second and stablemate Lucky Louie ($31) was third.
