Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan hopes his recent streak of luck with owner Linda Huddy can stand up for at least one more race in the A$1 million Magic Millions Cup at the Gold Coast today.
Huddy and husband Graham are dominant figures in Australian owner ranks through the deeds of horses such as the late Australian Derby winner Shoot Out and the Victoria Derby winner Preferment.
But even by their lofty heights, Linda Huddy has been having great success with Gollan and they have had seven winners in the past two months.
Huddy and Gollan combined to win a maiden (2200m) at Eagle Farm on Wednesday with What's That.
"I always get a special kick winning for the Huddys because they put a lot into racing and have been trying to improve the staying stock in Queensland," Gollan said.
