Bookmakers have not lengthened the odds on favourite Gaze for the A$325,000 ($391,000) Queensland Oaks despite drawing barrier No 14 yesterday.
The New Zealand filly remains a strong favourite after her dashing lead-up victory in the Brisbane Roses.
Gaze had Darren Beadman in the saddle last start and will be ridden on Saturday by Danny Nikolic.
Brisbane Broncos star play Darren Lockyer part owns Oaks runner Vietnam.
The Broncos fly into Auckland tomorrow to play the Warriors on Sunday and Lockyer hopes to finish his final training session on Saturday afternoon in time to watch the Oaks on television in the TAB across from the Broncos' Auckland hotel.
