Franco Nullabour, an impressive winner at Omakau on Monday at his first start, should give a repeat performance at the Wyndham Harness Racing Club meeting at Cromwell tomorrow.
Franco Nullabour is opposed by his stablemate New Revenue in race 4. Craig Thornley, who drove both horses to win at Omakau, is aboard Franco Nullabour tomorrow. Robin Swain is the new driver for New Revenue.
Trainer Nigel McGrath has a strong hand with Anvils Top Gun and Beaudiene Christian in the Cromwell Cup. Beaudiene Christian won the race last year from a 10m handicap. He finished third to Hands Christian and Malak Uswaad in the Geraldine Cup two starts back.
Anvils Top Gun ran fourth in the Gore Cup on December 26. He was a winner at Addington last month.
Stirling Point, a Cromwell Cup candidate, is back in the Winton stable of Allan Beck.
