KEY POINTS:
SYDNEY - Pre-post favourite Murtajill is bound to ease in the betting for Saturday's A$3.5 million ($3.99 million) Golden Slipper Stakes at Rosehill after coming up with gate 16 at yesterday's barrier draw.
The Tim Martin-trained colt, to be ridden by Jim Cassidy, will come into barrier 14 if the two emergencies, Marching (gate four) and Mimi Lebrock (15), fail to gain a start.
Early second pick Sleek Chassis from the David Hayes stable fared worse than Murtajill, picking up the outside gate of 18.
The likely firmer in the betting for the group one 1200m feature is the John Hawkes-trained Forensics who drew barrier one.
Hawkes' other runners Shaft and Deferential drew gates 13 and three respectively while the Warwick Farm trainer also prepares first reserve Marching.
Hayes will be represented by six runners with Zizou drawing seven, Husson Lightning 14, Cecconi 11, Press The Button two and Downhill Racer 10.
David Payne's two runners Hurried Choice and Vecchia Roma came up with gates six and nine respectively.
