While Dexter Dunn won't admit it, today's quiet afternoon meeting at Addington could signal one of the greatest achievements in New Zealand racing history.
Dunn goes into today's meeting on 196 wins for the season, needing only one more to equal the most successful season ever by a New Zealand jockey or driver.
And four wins today would take him to an almost unbelievable 200 wins for the season, something which is not entirely unlikely given Dunn drove six winners in eight races at Forbury Park last Tuesday.
The 19-year-old wonder boy of racing is confident he has the horsepower to win at least a couple of races today but stops shorting of predicting the magical 200.
"It is a good book but I don't want to get too cocky because that is when things come unstuck," he said.
"But there are a few there who can win."
Regardless of what happens today, Dunn looks certain to reach 200 later this week, with drives on age group stars Imagine Me and Smiling Shard at Cambridge and Addington respectively.
He rates Pacific Fleet in race eight his best chance today.
"He is better than Tuesday racing but is in the field because it is a free win for him if he gets it," said Dunn.
Tullyish in race six is another huge chance today, as are Hip Hop Anvil (race two), Bahama Breeze (race four) and Oscar Royce (race five).
"I am thrilled to get on Tullyish for Phil Williamson and I really appreciate his support.
"And the three maidens all have a chance.
"Hip Hop Anvil doesn't know much and has a bad draw but is a horse with a future, while Bahama Breeze has been working well.
"And Oscar Royce stays handy in his races and sticks on well, so he has to be a chance too."
Butt Dunn admits he almost hopes to win three, not four, races today.
"I'd love to get to 200 and if it happens tomorrow [today] then great.
"But it wouldn't bother me if I had to wait until a bigger meeting on a Thursday or Friday night."
