The $50,000 terminating TAB 6 continues at the Auckland greyhounds tomorrow. Here are some of the leading contenders:
Leg 1: Sippin Tequila caught the eye in the manner he angled himself down on to the rail from his wide draw last Sunday. Drawing closer to the rail says keep him safe. Winsome Jolie displayed early pace two races ago before being hindered when racing into the first turn. Fireside Blaze has been seen finding the line okay, while Rain Or Reason qualified nicely on this track.
Leg 2: Lennonville has been run down in his last two sprints - here Sunday and at Cambridge on Thursday. He will be competitive again. Treat Rocky Bend Girl with respect as she is a 19 race winner who is downgrading from open class. Beatrix Kiddo cannot be ignored. Rhoda Holmes could sneak along the rail and Realon Razzle adds interest.
Leg 3: Thrilling Bolt and Surfing Al contested a close 457m finish at Cambridge on Thursday, with Thrilling Bolt prevailing by 0.5L. Mark's Pet finished just behind them and his first attempt over 527m adds interest, as does Delichon Urbica who is returning from a six-week spell. Thrilling March hit the line powerfully last Sunday while the promising Mick Mania travels up from Palmerston North with claims.
Leg 4: Consider Collision Risk as an anchor following on from her strong Cambridge Thursday 375m win. She jumps from the same eight- trap here. Aston Red delivered another solid sprint at Cambridge. Donna Baxter treks up north following her Wanganui sprint win.
