Flight South won the Auckland Cup but the mare rated the best of her sex in New Zealand pacing makes her debut for the Auckland carnival on Friday.
Chloe Hanover missed the cup while having a brief let-up after the New Zealand Cup last month.
She disappointed at Addington, but looked to have bounced back to her best with a blistering effort at the Ashburton trials last week, where she paced the second fastest mobile 2400m by a mare in New Zealand.
Chloe Hanover starred at this carnival last year and the mobile conditions of Friday night's Woodlands Stud Queen Of Hearts will suit her, so even from her second line draw she will start favourite.
Flight South, Chloe Hanover and New Zealand Cup placegetter Kym's Girl are all being set for the mares races at Addington in March.
