KEY POINTS:
Two Cambridge trainers are staying positive about the Telecom Derby.
Roger James and Shaune Ritchie are doing their best to ignore the negatives despite a forecast for rain.
James says his two highly talented runners, Jungle Boots and Easy Ryder, may not be completely out of contention if it is wet.
"I've seen both of them at trials meetings on the wet and they weren't absolute duffers. Obviously, I'd far rather have a good track, but I've had Derby runners in the past that I'd be more worried about in the wet."
And Ritchie sees a positive in the rain for My Scotsgrey.
"What the rain will do is make it a really true test of stamina and that's where my horse can stand up."
