TAB bookmakers are prepared to take on New Zealand Cup favourite Changeover today.
Harness bookie Steve Richardson has revealed to the Herald he rates Monkey King the horse to beat in the race and he will give over tote odds on Changeover.
"I think he is beatable and even though we know there will be a lot of money for him we are not scared to take more.
"I can see him getting out to at least $3 with us during the day," he said last night.
Changeover got as short as $2.20 in the market five weeks ago but as long as $3.50 two weeks ago when Auckland Reactor was still a possible Cup contender.
