Racing: Bonus pools up for grabs this weekend

Punters are set to win $375,000 of bonus money this weekend.

The TAB will pay out that amount in bonus quaddie, First4 and trifectas, starting at Alexandra Park tonight.

The money is accrued from exotic pools which were not struck or only partially struck in April.

Tonight, $57,500 worth of bonuses will see a $10,000 start to the quaddie (race four), $20,000 added to the First4 pools in races one and eight and $7500 added to the trifecta pool for race six.

Quaddie punters on tomorrow's gallops meetings will see the pools at Ellerslie and Awapuni boosted by a massive $50,000, with $25,000 added to the Timaru quaddie.

There will also be $25,000 added to the First4s on races four and eight at all three gallops meetings tomorrow.

Greyhound punters are not left out, with $10,000 added to the quaddie at Manukau on Sunday, $7500 to the First4 on races four and eight and $2000 to the trifecta on race six.
