They may be split over the Warriors' upheavals, but yesterday, club co-owners Sir Owen Glenn and Eric Watson shared the status of successful horse owners.
Glenn's Kiwi-bred colt Criterion won the A$2 million BMW Australian Derby in Sydney, and Watson Bloodstock's Albany Reunion won the $200,000 Maco Easter Open Handicap at Ellerslie.
Watson congratulated Glenn via Twitter: "Things are looking up for @NZWarriors. Both owners' horses individually won the two big Group One races in NZ and Aussie. Congrats Sir Owen."
