A man who attempted to ride a horse onto the track at the Breeders' Cup while drunk has been arrested.
According to Kentucky police, 24-year-old Michael Wells-Rody snuck onto "a restricted area" while "manifestly under the influence of alcoholic beverages" and mounted a horse.
After grabbing the horse, he made it to the tunnel area before being stopped, local police said.
Wells-Rody is due to appear in court on Monday after being charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, reports the Lexington Herald.
The $6 million Breeders' Cup Classic at Churchill Downs was won by Accelerate.
