Boxing Day horse races across New Zealand were delayed this afternoon because the totalisator crashed.
The betting systems crash meant races were delayed, including the $150,000 Zabeel Classic at the Auckland Racing Club's meeting at Ellerslie, which was scheduled to run at 5.30pm.
The race will now take place at 6.10pm.
The outage affected the placement of bets at race meetings throughout New Zealand.
Frustrated punters took to the TAB Facebook page to vent their anger.
