The recent dominance that northern-trained staying dogs have enjoyed at group race level is under threat at the Addington Raceway this evening.
Little Teegan from the Arch Lawrence Cambridge kennels and the Karen Walsh Tirau-prepared Thrilling Logic will contest the group two Kingston Cup. Little Teegan was luckless in last Thursday's 732m heat and this noted railer has drawn awkwardly in eight for her racing style.
Thrilling Logic is likely to be on the pace from trap two. Looking to claim their scalps are the Gary Cleeve-trained Know Ambition who impressed in his 43.72s heat win.
Dave and Jean Fahey provided the other heat winner when Jinja Power won in 43.96s.
