Tui's 'Catch a Million' promotion will return this upcoming cricket season with a catch of its own - the prize pool will be limited by the success of the Black Caps.
Last season the promotion saw fans around the country flock to cricket grounds wearing orange T-shirts, which put them in the running to win $100,000 for taking a one-handed catch.
However despite many attempts, only two cricket fans from Hamilton, Michael Morton and Jatinder Singh, managed to walk away with a prize.
This summer the promotion is back, albeit with a catch -- the total prize pool put up by Tui will be limited by the Black Caps' performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
The prize pool will start at $250,000 and will increase as the Black Caps advance through the tournament, being split evenly among all those who catch a six. Catches still have to be executed with one hand, and on the full. If the Black Caps win the tournament, a total prize pool of $1 million will be up for grabs.
