While Kiwi code fans were busy watching Super Rugby or perhaps Ireland v France last weekend, this shocking late hit may have slipped through the cracks.
Stuart Hogg, the Glasgow and Scotland fullback, received a three-week ban for this shocking red-card offence during the Six Nations defeat by Wales last Saturday.
Hogg was dismissed after 23 minutes during Scotland's record 51-3 defeat for a shoulder charge into the face of Wales fly-half Dan Biggar.
The Glasgow player was initially shown a yellow card but it was upgraded to red by referee Jerome Garces after the incident was replayed on the stadium's giant screens.
