As far as free-kicks go, they don't get much worse than this.
English Conference side Chelmsford City were 2-0 down and awarded a free-kick in an attacking position in their clash with Hayes & Yeading on Tuesday night, and sent the majority of their side forward to try and pull a goal back.
But as City midfielder Sam Corcoran stepped forward to deliver the free-kick he slipped, managing to make minimal contact with the ball and cause a rampant and clinical counter attack which led to a third goal against his team.
An attacking free kick simply could not produce a worse result.
