IndyCar driver Scott Dixon is in Houston, Texas, this weekend and is hoping to emulate his success in Toronto, Canada, where he won the two races over the weekend to move into championship contention. Dixon is second in the series, 49 points behind Helio Castroneves.
Napier heading home
Kiwi V8 Supercars' team manager Dylan Napier is leaving Tony D'Alberto Racing at the end of the Gold Coast 600 as he's decided to head back home. Napier was promoted to the top job last year after starting in the team's sub-assembly department two years before.

The Formula First championship has had a shot in the arm for the 2013/14 season with the signing of Vortex Racewear as the naming sponsor. The series will be contested over eight rounds with events at Pukekohe, Hampton Downs, Taupo and Manfeild from Labour weekend through to Easter 2014.
