Top New Zealand swimmer Moss Burmester is lapping up every second spent with American sensation Michael Phelps.
The Commonwealth Games gold medalist in the 200 metres butterfly is in the United States training with Phelps on a three week trip arranged by national coach Jan Cameron - and Burmester is learning plenty.
He said it is pretty awesome and an inspiring watching Phelps and he is applying some of what he has seen to his own training.
Burmester said the trip has been extremely beneficial so far, aided by the good relationship he has with Phelps and the other swimmers in his training squad.
