Hawkes Bay professional Daniel Pearce has won the season long points race to the Jennian Homes Trophy today after another great season on the national circuit.
His year will be remembered by his two big wins at the Ngamotu Classic and the Barfoot & Thompson Akarana Open which solidified his position as our best golfer of the summer.
Although he could only manage a T11 finish here at the Carrus Open, the 29-year-old had already earnt the right to hold aloft the trophy with his stela performances earlier in the season.

With this comes $5,000 in prize money, courtesy of Jennian Homes who continue to help grow the game and provide New Zealands leading amateur and professional golfers the opportunity to prepare for performing on the big stage.
