Kiwi NFL prospect Paul Lasike will continue to vie for a permanent roster spot through the offseason.
The running back has been signed on a futures contract with the Chicago Bears, giving them full rights for Lasike should they wish to sign him next season and beyond.
Lasike was in the Bears' practice squad for a large part of the just-completed season.
